One of perhaps our most misunderstood mammals here in Earth has got to be our beloved bats. Coming in a variety of shapes and sizes depending on where they reside, these creatures of the night are incredibly invaluable to us. While there might not be anything to cure those of their fears regarding bats, we do always try to do our best to educate everyone on the benefits of having them around. The truth is, these flying mammals do more than many think!

We are incredibly excited about these new tools as they really are a beauty to behold (and use!). They have garnered a great deal of attention since we first announced them right before Christmas. Since that was our last transmission on these wonderful axes, we thought we’d take the opportunity to break down a couple of our favourites and tell you a little bit more about them.

One of the earliest mating seasons of all the birds here in North America, these birds have already begun the process of selecting a mate. While many birds are polygamous in their mate selection from year-to-year, common ravens are typically monogamous in nature, often selecting a mate for life. For this reason, common ravens will not actually breed until they are between two and four years of age, making this whole process even more amazing to behold.

Well folks, we made it into another decade, and we couldn’t be happier to be here. With the holiday season in our rearview, we are in full swing now at the store and there (as always) is plenty to chat about.
