Keep out ALL the biting bugs – black flies, mosquitoes, even tiny no-see-ums & sandflies, as well as horse flies, deer flies, and ticks. The fabric is lightweight and breathable but densely woven so mosquitoes cannot bite through. No-see-um mesh sleeves and sides allow cooling breezes in but keep biting insects out.
One-stop bug protection! Drawstrings on the bottom of the jacket and at wrists ensure complete protection for the top of your body. (You can put your hands inside the sleeves too if you like). Bug pants or gaiters provide full body coverage against ticks and other insects.
Black ‘no-see-um’-proof mesh is easy to see through and provides good visibility, especially with a baseball cap underneath to stretch it out at the right angle.
You can easily adjust the hood and the face mesh for maximum comfort. With two sliders on the face mesh zipper, you can easily zip it up partially, or only when the bugs get too annoying. You can also adjust how far forward the hood comes, with a toggle at the back of the hood. The zippered hood can be easily thrown back, and fits over a baseball cap or hard hat.
It’s light enough to keep in your backpack or on your belt, ready for use. The entire shirt folds into its own zippered pocket with a belt clip, allowing for easy travel.
