Cage your feeder to bring peace to your yard!
Keep grackles and other large birds out of your feeder, so the smaller birds always have access to a food source
Save money on seed – grackles and other large birds are not continually emptying your feeder
Keep your yard quiet from crowds of black birds – especially when you combine this with other feeders holding only straight nyjer or straight safflower
Keep out large black and grey squirrels also
Enjoy watching little birds flit in and out! ...like chickadees, gold finches, purple finches, nuthatches, Downy woodpeckers, and other small birds. Even cardinals can get inside!
It's easy to use! Easy to assemble and disassemble for filling.
You can use any medium-length seed tube, and regular mixed seed
This is not for
- Keeping out smaller squirrels and chipmunks
- Medium-sized birds that you would like to feed, and that are not keen to eat safflower in another feeder. Maybe a few handfuls of mixed seed in a platform feeder early in the morning and at dusk would cater to them.
- Hairy woodpeckers – perhaps provide an upside-down suet feeder for them
FEATURES:
- 12" in diameter and 16 ½" tall.
